Where is Malta?

South of Italy, in the Mediterranean Sea, lie some islands
      known as the Maltese Archipelago. Although there are more, 
       the most well known are Malta, Comino and Gozo. Malta was
once under British rule, but is now independent.

Malta has increasingly become a popular spot for film
 makers and tourists.
