STROKE SYMPTOMS FOR THE LAYPERSON

There are symptoms that may indicate someone
is having a stroke. These include, but are not
confined to : severe headache, blurry vision,
weakness on one side, speech difficulty,
difficulty swallowing and more.

 Calling 911 for medical help is frequently done.
It is also important to seek medical advice, for 
information on how to avoid a stroke.
Ann is an opera singer. She is experiencing stroke 
symptoms while on stage.


Nerves originate in the brain and for this reason , 
any injury inside the brain, may affect speech ,
swallowing, balance, figuring math and more.

Symptoms will be based on the location of the
brain damage. Physical, Speech or Occupational
Therapy is included in helping the stroke patient
return to normal. The doctor orders the necessary
 treatment.
